Spanish government delegate in the Basque Country, Paulino Luesma (2R) and Basque government fishing chief, Gonzalo Sainz de Samaniego (5R) walk with crew members of the Spanish trawler "Playa de Bakio" which was seized by pirates off the coast of Somalia, upon their arrival at the airport of Vigo, northwestern Spain, on April 30, 2008. Thirteen crew of a Spanish trawler held hostage for a week by pirates off the coast of Somalia returned to Spain the same day on a defence ministry plane. The Playa de Bakio with its crew of 13 Spaniards and 13 Africans of various nationalities was released on April 26, six days after it was seized by pirates armed with grenade launchers as it was fishing off the coast of Somalia.
