UKRAINE-NETHERLANDS-KUCHMA-HOOP
Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma (L) and Dutch Prime Minister Jaap de Hoop (C) examine drawings from the Franz Koenig-s collection in Kiev-s Art Museum 19 April 2004. Part of the Koenig-s collection, one of the most important collections of drawings in the world, is returning from Ukraine to Netherlands. The 139 drawings and 3 prints include work by prominent German masters such as Hans Holbein the Younger, Altdorfer and Hirschvogel. The works concerned had being missing since WW2.
