(FILES) This file picture taken on February 11, 1981 in Madrid shows Spanish Prime Minister Leopoldo Calvo Sotero giving an interview. Calvo Sotelo, whose 1981 parliamentary inaugruation was interrumpted by a coup attempt and is best known for the political decision to lead Spain into NATO which it eventually joined in 1985, died of cardiac arrest on May 3, 2008 aged 82, his family announced.
