LEBANON-UNREST-MEDIA
Lebanese journalists and employees of media belonging to the family of majority leader and billionaire tycoon Saad Hariri gather in the studios of the Future TV News channel, following a protest for the reopening of the television station, al-Mustaqbal newspaper and al-Sharq radio in Beirut on May 10, 2008. Militants of the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah movement yesterday forced the shutdown of all media operations belonging to the Hariri family. The closure -- which came as Shiite fighters routed Sunni loyalists of the Western-backed government -- concerned one satellite news channel, two regular television stations, a newspaper and a radio station.
