US-ANNIVERSARY-BROOKLYN BRIDGE
A flag waves in the wind on top of the Gothic-arched stone towers of the Brooklyn Bridge on May 22, 2008 in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. The Brooklyn Bridge, one of the world's most iconic bridges, turns 125 years old on May 24. To celebrate the landmark structure, New York will host a fireworks display and music performance by the Brooklyn Philharmonic at Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park. German-born civil engineer John A.
