NORWAY-ART-MUNCH
"Madonna" by expressionist painter Edvard Munch is on display for the public on May 23, 2008 at the Munch Museum in Oslo after it was restored and conserved following its spectacular theft from the museum in August 2004. "Madonna" and "The Scream" went back on display at an Oslo museum still showing signs of damage sustained in a daring 2004 heist but officially rejuvenated by nearly 20 years.
