This screen capture provided by NASA TV shows Phoenix team members celebrating the Phoenix landing on Mars, May 25, 2008 in Pasadena, California. The Phoenix Mars Lander, named for a mythological Arabian bird that would be consumed by fire then rise anew from its own ashes, is the newest hope in the search for signs of life on Mars. Fewer than half of the Mars missions have made successful landings. At a cost of 420-million USD, the Phoenix Mars Lander has flown 679 million kilometers (422 million miles) since leaving Earth last August. AFP PHOTO/NASA TV/HO ++RESTRICTED TO EDITORIAL USE++
