Françoise-Dolto school pupil, Carl Nanor, who won the Palme d'Or at Cannes film festival with the movie "The Class" directed by Laurent Cantet, is welcomed on May 26, 2008, in his school in Paris by other pupils, teachers and families. Based on the bestselling memoir of French teacher Francois Begaudeau, "The Class", shot in a rough Parisian classroom, became the first homegrown French movie in two decades to claim the coveted Palme d'Or.
