Bhatty and two other persons were acquitted for lack of evidence in Norway's first terrorism trial since anti-terror laws were strengthened after the 2001 attacks in the United States.While acquitted on the terrorism-related charges, Bhatti was sentenced to eight years in prison for a string of other crimes.
