IRAQ-UNREST-RELIGION-SHIITE-KARBALA
(FILES)-A view of the Kazemiyah mosque 31 March 2005, in Baghdad, the site of the shrine of Imam Musa al-Kazem. Two key holy shrines, the Imam Hussein and his half-brother Imam Abbas, both Shiite Muslims in Iraq are threatened by seepage and a rise in the water table in the low-lying area, local officials said on June 4 2008. The head of Agriculture in Karbala, 100 kilometres (60 miles) south of Baghdad, Amal al-Deen al-Her, said they needed concrete action to save the shrines for water damage. AFP PHOTO/ALI AL-SAADI
