In this 2008 image obtained from NASA, the Crew Mobility Chassis and new space suit prototypes are tested by NASA at Moses Lake, Washington. The Mobility Chassis is a new concept for a lunar truck. The trials are part of a series of tests of lunar surface concepts. One feature is its high mobility is a set of wheels that can pivot individually in any direction, giving the vehicle the ability to drive any direction.
