Women perform on June 16, 2008 at the Champ de Mars in Paris, in front of the Eiffel tower, during the beach-volley World tour scheduled from June 16 to June 22. 250 players from more than 40 countries are due to compete. 3,500 tons of sand were used to transform the Champ de Mars' grassed area into a giant beach ground. beachvolley is an olympic hit.
