FRANCE-PAINTING-ROUAULT-EXHIBIT
TO GO WITH A STORY IN FRENCH BY PASCALE MOLLARD-CHENEBENOIT: "AU CENTRE POMPIDOU, UN HOMMAGE A GEORGES ROUAULT, PEINTRE "SINGULIER" -
Women look at "Fille debout" (Standing girl), a 1905 painting by Georges Rouault (1871-1958) on June 24, 2008, during a press presentation for the Paris Modern Art museum show "Effervescence of the beginnings" an homage to the French painter at the Pompidou center in Paris. The exhibit running from June 25 till October 13, 2008 is held for the 50th anniversary of death of the French artist.
