Indonesian soldiers patrol the streets of Ambon, 29 April 2004, after the worst violence since a pact in February 2002 ended three years of religious battles in which some 5,000 died. Snipers continued to spread terror 29 April in parts of Indonesia-s Ambon but most of the city was calmer after four days of Muslim-Christian fighting which has killed at least 37 people. AFP PHOTO
