Overall leader Spanish Alejandro Valverde (Caisse d'Epargne/Spa) rides in the pack, on July 6 2008 in Saint-Brieuc, western France, during the 164,5 km second stage of the 2008 Tour de France cycling race run between Auray and Saint-Brieuc. Norwegian Thor Hushovd (Credit Agricole/Fra) won the stage ahead of Luxembourger team leader Kim Kirchen (Columbia -ex-High Road/US) and German Gerald Ciolek (Columbia -ex-High Road/US) and Valverde kept his Yellow jersey.
