Riyo Mori, Miss Universe 2007, takes her final walk on stage as the current title holder while judges decide who will win the 57th annual Miss Universe competition in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008. Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza, 22, won the Miss Universe pageant. The 57th edition of the global beauty contest kicked off in the southern seaside resort of Nha Trang, the first time it has been held in a communist country.
