OLY-2008-CANOE-KAYAK-HUN-KOLONICS-FUNERAL
Hungarian honour guards carry the Olympic flag-covered coffin of twice Olympic winner late Hungarian canoeist György Kolonics in the Farkasreti cemetery of Budapest on July 25, 2008 during a funeral ceremony. He also won a record fifteen gold medals at World Championships. Kolonics died during training on July 15, 2008 in Budapest due to heart failure. The 36-years old sportman died on July 15, as he lost consciousness during his training, preparing to his fifth summer olympic games and the attending paramedics could not help him.
