WARCRIMES-ICTY-SERBIA-KARADZIC-PRESS
A market vendor reads Blic newspaper sporting an exclusive photo of former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, shorn of his guru-like hair and beard allegedly prior to his transfer to The Hague, in Belgrade on July 31, 2008. Karadzic, who is accused of genocide, was arrested in Belgrade last July 21 after more than a decade on the run disguised as Doctor Dragan Dabic, a hirsute alternative medicine healer. UN prosecutors in The Hague hailed Serbia for detaining and transferring the so-called "Butcher of Bosnia" whose trial will focus on the two most notorious events of Bosnia's 1992-1995 war, the 44-month siege of Sarajevo and the Srebrenica massacre, in which thousands died. Tilte reads: "It is him!" AFP PHOTO / ALEXA STANKOVIC *** SERBIA OUT ***
