CORRECTION-CROATIA-SERBIA-WAR-ANNIVERSARY
CORRECTING INFORMATION AND REPLACING SECOND SENTENCE
A woman wipes her nose while holding a poster reading "Krajina" and showing columns of refugees fleeing on a road, during a commemoration service for Serbs who died in Croatia during the Croatian military August 1995 "Operation Storm", at St. Marko church in Belgrade on August 4, 2008. The Croatian military "Operation Storm" was launched in August 1995 with the aim of reconquering territory held by rebel Serb forces since the start of the Croatian war of independence in 1991. The offensive caused up to 200,000 Serb civilians to flee towards Bosnia and Serbia from Croatia in a massive column that continued for several days. Several hundred Serbs were killed.
