BULGARIA-ARCHEOLOGY-THRACIAN-MOUND-CARRIAGE
This photo taken August 7, 2008 shows a newly unearthed animal artifact, part of a fully preserved horse-drawn carriage from a Thracian mound in the village of Borisovo near the town of Elhovo, some 360 km south-east from the capital Sofia on August 7, 2008. The artifact was dug up by q Bulgarian archeologist working under his compatriot, archeologist Daniela Agre. The carriage together with other artifacts were buried some 1,900 years ago along with an unknown Thracian nobleman. AFP PHOTO / BORYANA KATSAROVA
