Sun Haiping, coach of China's defending Olympic 110 metres hurdles champion Liu Xiang is in tears at a press conference following Liu's retirement from his first round heat in the men's 110m hurdles at the "Bird's Nest" National Stadium during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games on August 18, 2008. "The problem today was a problem with the foot. He has had the problem for six or seven years. It was a problem before the Athens Games in 2004," Sun told a packed news conference which was beamed lived on Chinese television.
