SPAIN-AIR-ACCIDENT
A plane flies over a section of ground at Madrid's airport on August 23, 2008, burnt when a Spanair MD 82 plane crashed during takeoff on 20 August on a Canary Islands-bound flight. Three days after the Madrid air disaster, distraught families of most of the victims were still desperately waiting for their loved ones to be identified on August 23 so they can hold funeral services.
