A Tibetan man spins his prayer wheel and holds prayer beads while awaiting customers to buy is yak butter in the town of Kangding in the Tibetan autonomous Garze Prefecture on August 24, 2008, in southwest China's Sichuan province. The Tibetan automonous region in Sichuan which borders Tibet was the scene of massive unrest in March this year and remains under an omnipresent police and military presence with constant police vehicle patrols along the streets while armed military guards man the exits of prefecture towns in the foothills of the Himalayas.
