FRANCE-TOURISM-TRAVEL-COMPANY-ACCOR-RESULTS

The Europe's leading hotel and services group reported on August 28, 2008 in Paris, declining first-half profits, but said it expected its annual pre-tax operating profit to be higher than in 2007. Accor posted a net profit of 310 million euros (458 million dollars) in the first half of this year, a 48 percent drop compared with the first six months of last year.
