Jaak Raes director-general of the Belgium's Federal Crisis center holds up a map depicting Fleurus on August 29, 2008 during a press conference regarding contamination risks following a radioactive iodine leak last weekend, in Fleurus. The incident occured at the Institut des Radioelements, a laboratory which makes radioisotopes used in medical imaging and treating cancer. The town's population and residents of villages within a five-kilometre radius were asked not to eat fruit and vegetables from gardens or drink milk from neighboring farms until further notice, said mayor Jean-Luc Borremans.
