PHILIPPINES-BAHRAIN-ATTACKS
Ruben "Omar" Pestano Lavilla, a Filipino Muslim extremist allegedly involved in the 2004 bombing of a Philippine ferry that killed more than a hundred people is escorted by police during a press conference at the police headquarters in Manila on August 30, 2008. Lavilla was arrested in Bahrain on July 24 and deported to Manila to face criminal charges.
