Gold medallist Sherif Othman Othman of Egypt gestures on the podium after he set the world and paralympic record three consecutive times to win the men's 56-KG powerlifting event at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games on September 11, 2008 at the BUAA Gymnasium in Beijing. Othman broke and set the world and paralympic records with three consecutive lifts beginning with 195.0 kg, followed by 200.0 kg and finally on his last attempt with 202.5 kg to win gold, followed by Iraq's Mohsin who lifted 185.0 and bronze medallist Jung Keum-Jong of South Korea who lifted 180.0.
