ALBANIA-BLAST-TREBICKA-ACCIDENT-POLITICS
This TV grab taken from the Albanian Television KLAN on September 13, 2008 shows the body of Albanian businessmen Kosta Trebicka after a car accident near Korca some 180 KM from Tirana on September 12, 2008. Trebicka, an Albanian businessman, became a whistle blower that prompted an international investigation on an US army supplier which alledgedly supplied the Afghan army with Albania’s old stockpiles of Chinese-made ammunition after repackaging them to hide their origin. Trebicka was a key witness in an investigation launched by the Albanian authorities too, regarding an explosion of army demolition facility that killed 26 people last March. AFP PHOTO
