SURFING-QUIKSILVER-PRO FRANCE
Jordy Smith of South Africa surfs during the 2008 edition of the Quiksilver Pro part of the ASP World Tour at Les Estagnot in Hossegor on September 20, 2008. Smith defeated fellow ASP World Tour rookie Jihad Khodr of Brasil and three times ASP World Champion Andy Irons of Hawaii. The win gives him a direct entry into Round 3 while Khodr and Irons must surf the do or die Round 2 where a win is necessary to avoid elimination.
