AUSTRIA-VOTE-RESIGN
Austrian Agriculture Minister Josef Proell of the People's Party (OeVP) is named as new Party chief by his antecessor Finance Minister Wilhelm Molterer (not in picture) on September 29, 2008 in Vienna. The head of Austria's defeated conservatives has quit his party's leadership, Austrian news agency APA said Monday.
