German Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture Minister Horst Seehofer (L) and German Chancellor Angela Merkel arive for a leadership meeting of their parties in Berlin on September 30, 2008. Seehofer is set to become Chairman of the CSU after Erwin Huber resigned from the post following a disastrous showing in regional elections.
