A portrait by photographer Hubert Grooteclaes as part of a private collection devoted to Belgian singer Jacques Brel (1929-1978), is displayed during an auction at Sotheby's in Paris on October 08, 2008, thirty years after the singer's death. This sale brings to life the greatest moments in the career of this towering artist, via 94 lots including around thirty manuscripts, 7 records, 5 lots devoted to photographs, and around 50 other items.
