A loggerhead sea turtle named "Johnny" is examined Tuesday, October 14, 2008 prior to its release off the Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys near Marathon, Florida. The turtle fully recovered from critical injuries sustained July 12, when it was allegedly hacked by a machete wielded by a Miami-Dade resident who is under investigation by law enforcement authorities.
