US musician and writer Lou Reed performs as US singer Laurie Anderson appears on a screen on October 24, 2008 in Barcelona. Due to Anderson's tour, she appeared live by broadband connexion from Berkeley, USA via Internet to read "America" a poem by Enric Casasses. The prolific musicians, and also poets, Laurie Anderson and Lou Reed, lent their voices so that Catalan poets like Brossa, Espriu, Carner, Vinyoli, could be heard in English at a recent recital in New York during the programme Made in CataluNYa and the International Literature Festival "Kosmopolis 08" reproduced it today in the heart of the Raval in Barcelona.
