A selection of salamis and sausages are presented at the seventh Salone del Gusto (Taste expo) on October 24, 2008 in Turin. The Salone del Gusto running until October 27 and organized by the influential Italian-based Slow Food movement, which promotes high-quality, local food as a remedy to fast-food culture, exhibits productions from some 8000 farmers and producers from all around the world.
