CUBA-USA-MARCH-CASTRO
Cuban President Fidel Castro takes part of a massive protest march against new US moves aimed at speeding the end of his communist rule, and raised the prospect of a feared US invasion in Havana, 14 March 2004. "I will be front and center to die in defense of my country," an olive-drab-clad Castro promised just before the march began, after he read a "Declaration of an Adversary of the US Government." Beside Castro are his personal assistant Carlos Valenciaga (R) and Otto Rivero.
