It took tear gas, arson and the Philippines Supreme Court to remove Anna Lisa Sarabia, one of the heirs who managed to save some clothes and bedsheets, from a coveted beachfront property in Boracay, where all hell is breaking loose in the fight for a piece of paradise. The 1.5-hectare (3.6-acre) warren of tourist shops, restaurants and inns went up in smoke early this month after police fired tear gas to evict the clan as the Supreme Court ended a 21-year land dispute, awarding the property to a big developer.
