(FILES) This file picture dated November 13, 2008 shows an UN tank moving through a field near a UN mission in DR Congo (MONUC) base at Kiwanja, about 80 kilometres (50 miles) north of Goma, the main city of eastern DR Congo's restive Nord-Kivu region. The UN Security Council approved on November 20, 2008 an extra 3,000 peacekeeping troops to help put a lid on conflict in the east of Democratic Republic of Congo. In its resolution, the Security Council said the length of deployment of the additional 2,785 military personnel and 300 police officers to the UN mission in Congo (MONUC) would hinge on the security situation.
