TO GO WITH AFP STORY IN FRENCH: "Gerard Mortier, directeur d'opera: 65 ans mais pas encore la retraite"- (FILES) A picture taken on December 3, 2007 in Paris shows Belgian opera director Gerard Mortier. The premiere of "Fidelio" at the Palais Garnier in Paris, on November 25, 2008 will mark the 65th birthday of Mortier. Mortier is known for his risk-taking approach to scene work and powerful interest in 20th-century opera.
