Anorthosis Famagusta fans hold coloured banners to highlight the demise of their "ghost town" before the start of the team's match against Werder Bremen in their Champions League Group B football match in the Cypriot capital Nicosia on November 26, 2008. The refugee team hails from Famagusta, which lies in Turkish-held northern Cyprus and where the town's once-popular golden beach resort of Varosha remains fenced off in a UN-protected area.
