Shoppers rush to get in a BestBuy store at 5 a.m. on November 28, 2008 in Los Angeles, California, a day after Thanksgiving. Thousands of shoppers queued up for hours outside many retailers to open to take advantage of "Black Friday," the day after Thanksgiving ,which is considered the traditional kick-off for the Christmas shopping season.
