GREECE-PROTEST-DAMAGE
A man walks in front of a walll covered with graffiti, reading "Why? 16-year-old kid - Revenge. Blood Flows - Calls for Revenge" in the vicinity of the occupied Athens Polytechnic University on December 8, 2008. Angry youth clashed with police for the past two days and nights following the December 6 deadly police shooting of a teenager in Athens. Andreas Grigoropoulos, 15, was shot by a police officer who opened fire after youths threw objects at his car. In Athens, firefighters were called to more than 180 alerts, including 24 banks, 35 stores, 24 cars, 12 homes and a district office of the ruling New Democracy party, which were hit with home-made explosives, officials said on December 8.
