Trucks carrying goods and food supplies of the United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) arrive in Rafah, after it crossed through the Kerem Shalom crossing between Israel and the southern Gaza Strip on January 01, 2009. A senior UN official said today that it is crucial that the fighting stops in the battered Gaza Strip and that food and fuel be delivered rapidly. "Conditions for parents and children in Gaza are dangerous and frightening.
