NEW YORK - JANUARY 09: Alberto Francesconi Sr., father of slain Marine Alberto Francesconi, mourns with his son's wife Cynthia Francesconi, 23 (L) and mother Minerva Negron (R) during his funeral on January 9, 2009 in the Bronx borough of New York City. Francesconi was the first American casualty this year in Afghanistan announced by the Department of Defense, killed on New Year's Day during combat in the southern Helmand province of the troubled country.
