UN Secretary General Ban-Ki-moon waves after meeting with Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erakat (R) on January 16, 2009 in the West Bank city of Ramallah. UN chief Ban Ki-moon said on Friday that a ceasefire in the war in the Gaza Strip was "very close." "We're very close... (to) an agreement on a ceasefire.
