Kevin Blanchard, a retired U.S. Marine corporal who was wounded in Iraq in 2004 leads other wounded veterans as the pedal across the top of the Seven Mile Bridge in the Florida Keys Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, near Marathon, Fla. About 25 injured vets and 36 other supporters joined in the ride down segments of the Florida Keys Overseas Highway for Soldier Ride, an activity staged by the Wounded Warrior Project to provide inspiration and raise funds for injured comrades recovering in American military hospitals.
