A British man wanted on kidnapping charges after he fled to northern France with a teenage girl he met online, leaves in a car the Douai court, northern France, where a Europe-wide warrant had been issued for the man who has previous convictions for sexual assault.
The girl, 15-year-old Laura Stainforth, was safe in the northern city of Lille while Robert Williams, 49, arrested on January 21 in Lille, was ordered to remain in police custody until the extradition hearing. AFP PHOTO DENIS CHARLET
