BELGIUM-CRIME-CHILDREN-SUSPECT
The suspect in the January 23, 2009 knife attack at a Belgian daycare center in Dendermonde, southwest of Antwerp, 20-year old Kim De Gelder, arrives on January 27, 2009 in a police car at the Dendermonde courthouse to appear before the council chamber. De Gelder, who has been charged with killing two babies, aged six and nine months, and a nurse at the daycare center, voiced regret on January 26 about the slayings, according to his lawyer.
