Turkish Police inpectors check an area after deadly clashing in Istanbul on 29 January 2009. "A suspected Al-Qaeda militant was killed here Thursday in a shootout with police," the CNN-Turk news channel quoted Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler as saying.
