FRANCE-WEATHER-STORM
Picture taken February 9, 2009 at Trevignon harbour in Tregunc, western France, as Brittany coast faces winds of 100 kilometers an hour and France was put on storm alert just two weeks after a tempest left 11 dead in the southwest. The forecasters said the storm would not reach the intensity of the one that lashed France on January 14, leaving 11 dead, knocking out power for hundreds of thousands and causing more than a billion euros (1.3 billion dollars) worth of damage.
